Kish (Persian: کیش (Kīsh) is an island in the Persian Gulf off the southern coast of Iran. Because of its sunny climate, good infrastructure, strategic location and free zone status the island is an excellent destination for sport recreation and tourism. It offers many malls, tourist sights, resort hotels and restaurants.
Kish has an estimated population of 26,000 and about 1 million visitors annually. Kish island has a domestic and international airport with flights from/to Dubai, Muscat, Tehran, Mashad, Esfahan, Shiraz and other cities.
